This app was built in order for users to record, view and save the speed while driving in their vehicle. In addition, it not only saves the driving speed but saves the exact dates and times the speeds were recorded.

There is an initial registration and then a required log-in for each use. In order for the users vehicle to record the driving speed from their vehicle, a TONWON OBDII adaptor must be purchased along with using Bluetooth. This adaptor can be plugged into most vehicles from 1996 and younger. The Bluetooth will detect the speed via the TONWON OBDII adaptor and will record and save speeds to the account that the user created allowing the user to view the speeds, dates and times on the app. This assures their data is kept safe and can be viewed any time for up to a three-month period. Once the user registers, they will then be able to view, via The Cloud, their saved, recorded speeds, dates and times. The Cloud will store this information for three month increments. Every month the oldest month will be deleted in order for the most recent month to be added and saved.

The purpose of this app is so a user can bring the saved recordings to court with them. If the user was given a speeding ticket and was not speeding or going as fast as the ticket states they will then have an app to help support that in court. For example, if a ticket was given for speeding and the ticket states the user was doing 45 mph in a 25 mph zone, the app will show the exact speed, date and time the driver was driving and can compare the speed to the date and time the ticket was given.

If the Officer allows, the user can show the app at the time of being stopped and prevent a ticket all together. This can help reduce the number of court cases.

This may help the user so they dont get points for speeding. The user then may not have to incur the cost of hiring an attorney or suffer an increase in their automobile insurance. Allowing the information to be stored for three months gives the user enough time to appear in court.
